Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Atmore, Alabama
Must be flexible to work all shifts.
Objective/Position Summary
• Performs general maintenance on plant facility and equipment using basic mechanical skills.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for performing basic repairs on plant equipment and facilities.
• Responsible for maintaining proper operation and safety of plant equipment.
• Responsible for obeying Company Work Rules and Safety Rules.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.
Qualification Requirements
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or
ability required. Must own personal tools to perform typical mechanical repairs. Ability to work
under minimal supervision on off shifts.
Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
Transferable Skills
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, read and comprehend numerical part numbers
and orders. Must be able to read and write. Must have basic mechanical skills. Basic blueprint
reading skills required.
Physical Requirements
• Must have 20/20 vision in both eyes with corrective lenses

employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 75lbs., occasionally.
• Must to be capable of standing, sitting, bending, and reaching for up to 8 hours.
